Dementia – In this case, the diagnosis of dementia refers to his memory issues (not Alzheimer’s). You can tell Marcus something and he may not remember it ten minutes from now if he doesn’t repeat it several times. How he can do the things he can do? None of us knows. The abilities of the brain and how it functions are unknown to us all.
As far as a personality disorder (provisional), right now he is upset and frustrated because no one will listen to him. He is just Marcus. How would you feel if this was you?
